Postcard from Russia!

Today I got a beautiful panoramic postcard from Russia! The postcard shows a typical winter scene in the Russian countryside. It shows a prime example of hoar frost, which is a type of frost comprised of tiny white ice crystals. These form when objects slowly lose heat and usually accumulate on long clear nights.  The postcard is an official Postcrossing card, RU-3424636. Thanks Tanya!
