Postcard from Vietnam!

Today I got a nice postcard from Vietnam! Throughout Vietnam's experiences of war, the militiawoman has been the icon for Vietnamese women. During the war, Vietnamese women enlisted and fought. They also helped in logistics and in cooking. Some of them took over the farming tasks in the rural areas in order to help the war effort. Women also fought on both sides. Thanks Jo!
