Postcard from Spain!

Today I got a nice postcard from Spain! The postcard shows a night view of the University of Salamanca. The university, which is located in the town of Salamanca, is the oldest university in Spain. It is also the fourth oldest continuously operating university in all of Europe. It was founded in 1134 and given royal charter in 1218. Today, the university has about 28,000 students and is known for its Spanish courses for non-native speakers. One of its most popular graduates is Miguel de Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote. The card is an official Postcrossing card, ES-326104. Thanks Lola!
