Postcard from the United Kingdom!

Today I got a nice postcard from the United Kingdom! The postcard shows a street view of the popular York Minster. It is a cathedral in York that is one of the largest in Europe. Its official name is the Cathedral and Metropolitical Church of St Peter in York and it is the seat of the Archbishop of York. The archbishop is the second highest ranking official in the Church of England. The earliest church on the site dates back to the 7th century and the cathedral itself was once a Roman Catholic cathedral. The card is an official Postcrossing card, GB-594206. Thanks Melanie!
