Postcard from Slovakia!

Today I got a great postcard from Slovakia! The postcard shows multiple views of Bratislava, the country's capital city. Bratislava is unique because it is the only capital city that borders two different countries, Austria and Hungary. It covers an area of about 368 square kilometres and was once the capital of the Kingdom of Hungary. It only received its modern name in 1919. It was known by its German name of Pressburg before this. On the card we see the Bratislava Castle, the Danube River, the Main Square, and the Blumental Church. Thanks Jana!
