Postcard from Japan!

Today I got a nice postcard from Japan! The postcard features traditional art found in Kyoto's Nijō Castle. Nijō Castle covers 275,000 square meters and is known for its two concentric fortifications. Each contains a wall and a wide moat. The sliding doors and walls of Ninonmaru Palace, which is located between the two fortifications, were decorated by artists of the Kanō school. The card was sent by my dad who was on vacation in Japan. Thanks dad!
